Habits – When we were younger we thought of habits as negative, such as a bad habit, something they did.
It means to habitually, continually, that is what habit means.
As we have gotten older, we have discovered that habits can also be an incredibly positive thing also.
If you have good habits, and do them daily, they will serve you well, lift you.
If you have bad habits, and do them daily, they enslave you, and they hurt you.
Habits, not good, not bad, just continual. They could be an asset or an liability. They can be an anchor that holds you down, or the wind beneath your wings that allows you to fly and sail.
So look into your own habits. Draw a line down the middle of a piece of paper. One side have good, one side have bad. What are the good habits? What are the bad habits? Hopefully the good outweigh the bad.
Regardless, you can change your habit. It has to be a choice, and it takes time. But with intentionality and patience, you can change.
